Taylor Swift & Justin Bieber Get CMT Music Awards

Many stars scored awards at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville on May 8, 2011. Among the winners included Taylor Swift who was honored with the video of the year award for her video “Mine” and Justin Bieber who got the collaborative video award with Rascal Flatts for his hit “That Should Be Me”.

But how many of you are surprised that Taylor Swift and Justin Bieber scored CMT Music Awards?

Although none of the main winners were able to accept their awards in person at the CMT Music Awards, Swift managed to show up through satellite to say a big thank you for her award.

Aside from Swift and Bieber couple Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton won awards too. Lambert was honored the female country video award for her video “The House that Built Me” and Shelton was honored the male video award for best country video for “Who Are You When I’m Not Looking.” But Shelton also won best Web video for his video “Kiss My Country Ass”.

The CMT Music Awards was hosted by Kid Rock and was opened by taped video of Swift and Shania Twain channeling Thelma & Louise in their renowned convertible.
