The 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards with Hostess Selena Gomez

This year was the 22nd annual MuchMusic Video Awards and as usual the night was full of music from talented artists, excitement and fashion.

The event’s hostess was the lovely Selena Gomez who wore a luxurious Burberry champagne-coloured dress with a pair of drop dead Giuseppe Zanotti’s purple peep-toe heels but unfortunately, didn’t pose with her boyfriend Justin Bieber.

Among the stars to walk the red carpet on Sunday night were Kelly Kapowski wearing a pink Dolce and Gabbana blazer, Twilight star Nikki Reed who wore a black and white sequin dress by Ronald Abdala, Colin Farrell who dressed in denim and Avril Lavigne who dressed in leather pants and a ripped t-shirt in her usual rocker style.

But those aren’t nearly all the stars to attend the 2011 MuchMusic Video Awards. Lady Gaga made a strong fashion statement dressed in a black leather-studded Versace bodysuit to perform “The Edge of Glory” and changed into a printed jacket and trouser suit with a turquoise wig later in the evening.
